Flames danced everywhere as they devoured the wooden structure of the castle. In the highest room atop the castle, a once powerful canine feudal lord now cowered on his back on the floor as he stared at his assailant. A tall black bear dressed in Yamabushi monk robes stood over him pointing a wicked shichishito sword. It was a broad double-edged straight sword with three protrusions at each side of the blade that stuck out then curved upward with the body of the sword, giving it a total of seven points.

"Hotoko, you traitor!" cried the canine feudal lord. "What have you done?"

"What should have been done long ago," Hotoko said

Thunder rang out and the rain fell in a torrential downpour. It was late into the night in the deserted street of the city. A feline woman of about thirty was running home. She clutched her umbrella to keep the wind from blowing it away. Her red kimono was completely soaked and was freezing cold, all the more reason to get home.

"Ahh…" said the young brown-furred wolf of about twenty years old after taking a long sip of hot tea. It was too early for sake. He didn't need a buzz at noon. But for now, he was focused on the black and white furred feline that was refilling his cup. He studied her perfect figure. Some parts more… closely then others.

"Is there anything else I can get you, Sir?" she asked in a sweet and cheerful tone.

"Yeah," he said in a deep and manly tone. "Come here." She leaned over so he could whisper into her ear so no one else could overhear. As he whispered, her eyes grew to the size of dinner plates in shock. Her facial expr

Reflections of the Past, Beginning of the Future

Long ago, in a time where darkness tainted the land, war was waged between the lords of the lands. As the darkness grew stronger, so did the demons of the netherworld. One demon in particular grew especially powerful: Kaguya, a beautiful ogress, crafted a sword out of the bones of a thousand year old black dragon and soaked the blade in the blood of one hundred demons. This dark ritual endowed the sword with omnipotent powers over the souls of mortals. Once you were cut down by the blade, you become a slave to whoever wields it.

"Himitsu!" cried an unknown voice. "Himitsu, can you here me?"

Himitsu opened his eyes. Himitsu was no longer laying in the middle of a burning village, but floating in an infinite void. Where was he? Was he dead? The last thing he remembered was being attacked by someone then passing out.

"Himitsu!" called the voice again from behind him. Turning around, or as best as he could while floating, he saw a figure emerge from the darkness. It looked like a fox but its fur was white and his hair was graying. He wore full black hakama divided skirt and haori long jacket over a white kimono.
